How It Works

So I've been receiving some questions about whether this is a good idea (I have no idea) and how it works (that, I can answer).

Here are the rules:

1. No solid food.

2. Only fruits and veggies can be juiced (so no, I don't get to just melt ice cream, sad.)

3. The juices need to be primarily veggies, because fruits have too much sugar.

4. I can drink around 5 juices a day (about 20-30 ounces each).

5. I'm not supposed to have caffeine, but that would end in bloody murder, so I will still be drinking my AdvoCare Spark drink mix as well as (one) diet coke per day. The Spark also contains lots of vitamins and minerals, and it will help keep my energy up.

6. I will continue to take my gummy vitamins because I tend to get very deficient in vitamin D, iron,  and calcium even when my diet is really good.

7. This is going to be monitored by a physician, with regular blood work to ensure that I won't actually kill myself with juice.

8. I will be going to the gym, but I'm not increasing my workout to anything I wouldn't normally do. So if there is weight loss to be had, it will come primarily from the juice diet.

9. I will post my experiences here, good, bad, and ugly.

Stats:

We use a Breville Juice Fountain juicer, if you're interested, and it works really well.

My starting weight is (cringe) 365 lbs.  I am 5'6" tall.

J's starting weight is 421 lbs. He is 6'4" tall.
